Understand the situation

Back at Northstar

A classification is only an answer. Somebody still needs to do the work. “Qualified” does not mean a meeting happened, and “sent” does not mean responsibility transferred.

Northstar chooses four outcomes. Route an identified, eligible demo requester to the assigned seller. Nurture a fitting person who asked only for updates and is permitted to receive them. Reject a clearly out-of-scope request. Review missing or conflicting evidence with Luis.

These belong to the teaching example operating rules. Contact permission is a separate input, specific to the intended action. A demo request must not silently clear unrelated restrictions or authorize every campaign.

Taylor Kim, GTM engineering learner, inspect pose
“Give the uncertainty an owner. Don’t make the system guess to keep the queue looking clean.”Taylor · Northstar Learning · Teaching case
Route
Assigned seller accepts follow-up.
Nurture
Marketing owns the permitted updates.
Reject
Record the out-of-scope reason; do not create selling work.
Review
Luis resolves missing evidence before external action.
